Game updated, about the next game, and stuff

Hi all, just wanted to let you know that I just published a new update for Wargames of 1939. Not much of content, except some scenario finetuning to make the second campaign more playable, but the game engine itself is updated internally and should be quite more stable. The updated engine is a byproduct of the development of the next game in series - Wargames of Normandy - which I already hoped to have released last year, but didn't exactly get done yet. Life got in the way, in the form of moving and changing my place of work ... Now continuing with the development with hopefully more rapid pace than in autumn!

  1. I was hoping you wouldn't stay in WW2 (I'm pretty fed up with WW2 games) but, as usual, I don't think I'll be able to skip any of your games. They are just great.

  2. Excellent news...I was about to lose hope. Looking forward to this but, as Space Voyager said, it would be nice to see another period next time. Cheers.

  3. There is no stratey that will allow the Poles to win without a supply depot.

  4. Can't get to last scenerio since Poles cannot win at Tomaszow.

    1. Of course they can - I win on hard every time. You have to setup your secondary units on the front line to the west off town, with massed artillery for support. Let the Panzers hit secondary units and get counterfired, then wear a couple down with artillery and kill them off with your own tanks. You just can't be too aggressive the first couple turns. Then when there's a window, jump on the town and defend it and turn the tables on the Germans.

  5. I threw everything at the German supply town in the south. Eventually capturing it and slowly turning the tables.

  7. Hi, just wondering when the game will be finished. Still looking forward to it, two years later. I understand that the enthusiasm diminishes when programming long projects. Keep going matey. Praise is worth more than wealth.

  8. I love Wargames of 1939, just now getting into your Roman games. I'd definitely buy other WWII games you make! If nothing else, I'd pay money for more scenarios for WG1939...
